Run, walk, hike along a beautiful trail system at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains!
Distances are 5k, 10k, or 25k.

6:00am - 8:00am - Packet pickup at starting line
7:00am - 25km to mosier gulch through turkey lane on clear creek(15 mile) start
8:00am - 10km to bench at 16 and veterans way
8:30am - 5km to gate in clear creek trail

Packet Pickup and Guest Info
- You must present a photo ID to pick up your packet.
- You may pick up another racer's packet with a copy of their photo ID.
- You may pick up swag (hats and shirts) for non-runners.
- Entries are non-transferable. You may drop distances on race day. No increases.
Race Rules
- Stay on the race course. Trail is marked with flagging and 24-inch square signage.
- Respect the trail. The race course is through the City of Buffalo park and trail system, Johnson County Greenbelt trail system, and federal lands. Pick up any trash you generate and carry it out with you.
- No crew or aid from spectators. Family and friends may wait at the start/finish line for their runners.
- No pacers for any distance.
- Racers, families, and spectators must follow directions of the race directors, staff, and medical personnel at all times. Failure to follow directions will result in disqualification and ejection without refund.
- Runners must check in with a race volunteer at their turn around point.
- No drop bags.
Awards
Get the bread! Top male and female runners for each distance category will receive a fresh loaf of milled sourdough bread baked with love by Buffalo local Stephanie N.
Course Map and Description
All distances are out and back courses. Courses consist of a maintained trail system, dirt two track, paved bike trail, and single track hiking trails.
Aid Stations
- 5k turnaround (water only)
- 10k turnaround
- Mosier Gulch 25k turnaround
Water is available at all aide stations. Water and snacks will be available at the 10k and 25k turnaround aide stations. A vault toilet is available at the Mosier Gulch 25k turnaround.
